GeM has to process to give you OEM panel & dashboard.

1. Vendor Assessment Exemption - If you have appropriate documents as per GeM's VAE policy then our team will handle the process by collecting documents from you by guiding you the documentation requirement and necesity. Like - If you are Medical Device / Medical Drugs manufacturer or BIS CML Licence holder or if your annual sales turnover is more than 500 Crore, then you are exempted for Vendor assessment process by providing documents proof.
2. Vendor Assessment - To assess you as OEM and give you OEM Panel & Dashboard GeM has designed their Vendor Assessment policy's for different type of manufacturers and they have assosiated third party agency for validating the assessment. It's Devided in 2 procesess, 1st is Desktop Assessment and 2nd is Detailed Video assessment of your manufacturing site. In both process our team will explain you, support you and guide you to prepare documents and after collecting documents from you will submit all the required documents in assessment panel. Also my team will guide you how to handle the assessment video call by demonstrating sample video calls.
3. Deemed OEM - If you are an Importer or a sister concern of any foreign company, still you can claim OEM Panel & Dashboard by providing your's and manufacturers documentation with manufacturer's manufacturing process documents and video assessment will be done to foreign company's manufacturing site. Below is the description of process how we handle.

A vendor Assessment is performed to determine the quaity of a product or service. Pre-assessed Vendors are tagged as VA in front of their names at GeM marketplace and hence the confidence of prospective buyers grows manifold when they are aware they are transaction with Selrs whose credentials are already verified and authenticated.

At present, Vendor Assessment is done by the Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES). The RITES Vendor Assessment is done online,and the fee has to be paid directly to RITES. It is an important step for evaluating the credentials and quality standards of the seller.After Video Assessment,the seler getsthe OEM Panel or OEM certificate in GeM.

Vendor Assessment is mandatory for sellers who want to participate in the public procurement of Q1 and Q2 category products on GeM.

Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) can apply for Vendor Assessment if they are:

• Manufaturing Unit
• Assembling Unit
• Third-Party manufacturer with or without Brand Name

If the products are manufactured outside India, and that ocation does not share a land border with India, then the manufacturing entity should become a Deemed OEM on GeM.
